Fun Fact:
Outside of the gym, I train as a performing aerialist. When I am not training, I participate in mindfulness modalities such as Reiki, Integrated Energy Therapy, and Sound Healing Meditation. All of which I hold certifications in. My other passion is Sports Entertainment and I have worked with three professional teams including a position as an Ice Girl with the NJ Devils.

 Why did you go into Personal Training?
Becoming a personal trainer was a career change for me. I made the shift after committing to making my health and physical fitness a priority. I want to make this journey easier and happier for others so they can make the lifestyle change that sticks with them for life. I want to be a support system and coach so I can see others achieve the best and healthiest versions of themselves.

I transitioned from being a Personal Trainer and actively working out six days a week, to a desk where I was primarily sedentary for the last 20 years. I realized that by becoming physically fit, I could regain much of my energy, flexibility, balance, and alertness but most of all, reclaim my quality of life.

Desiree is not just a great listener, she intuitively knows how to fill in the blanks. I say this because I expressed my goals to improve my strength, aerobic capacity, and flexibility. Desiree decided we should start with my core while adding cardio and balance components.

On several occasions, I was fatigued, broke my form, and risked injuring myself while squatting, dead-lifting, etc., and Desiree was there to correct my form immediately. When a trainer like Desiree does this, she saves you from possible injury and all the hassles that come with it. She also trains your intuitive awareness of correct vs. incorrect form, which is invaluable.

She designed a holistic plan that kept me motivated and challenged me to the fullest without overtraining me. So I believe that given the opportunity, Desiree will get you to enjoy the quality of life you deserve ASAP.
