MANAGEMENT
We offer numerous management positions, including General Manager, Sales Manager, Personal Training Manager, Aquatics Director, Member Services Manager, and Childcare Manager.
Sales
Our team of membership counselors and managers represents the Center in our communities and with our corporate partners. They spend time in the Center selling to prospective members and building relationships for retention and referrals with the active member base. They also spend time in the community at large, promoting membership and ancillary services, and attending networking and fitness-related events. The individuals on our Sales Team are automatically included in our Management Training Program.
Personal Training
The Personal Training department consists of a team of personal trainers with all levels of experience and specialties. Our team works with a medically diverse group of individuals. All Center trainers are required to complete our in-house education curriculum to help develop and hone skills. We work with clients seeking medically based programming, sports performance training, weight loss, and improvement of overall physical health. Part- and full-time positions are available.
Important: We accept the following certifications*, or an undergraduate degree in exercise science, exercise physiology, kinesiology, or health and fitness. Other Bachelor of Science degrees will be considered on an individual basis.
*Accepted certifications: ACE-CPT, ACSM-CPT, ACSM EP-C (exercise physiologist), ACTION CPT, The Cooper Institute CPT, IFPA, ISSA-CPT, NASM CPT, NCCPT, NCSF-CPT, NESTA-CPT, NETA-CPT, NFTP-CPT, NSCA-CSCS, NPTI, NSCA-CPT, PTA Global CPT, and WITS-CPT. Current CPR/AED certification is required for this position.
Aquatics
The Aquatics Center has three pools: lap pool, therapy pool, and spa pool. On staff, we have lifeguards, swim instructors, swim coaches, and managers. We offer comprehensive programming, including swim lessons, competitive stroke, swim team, group classes, and a Master Swim Program. These services are offered to both children and adults. We also host certification classes for CPR, lifeguarding, and water safety instruction through the American Red Cross. Part- and full-time positions are available.
All lifeguards and swim instructors must have current American Red Cross certifications.
Group Fitness
We offer a large variety of classes each week at our Center, including boot camp, boxing, HIIT, yoga, Pilates mat, T’ai Chi, Zumba®, Pound, aquatics, strength and cardio, cycle, and Les Mills™ programming like Pump, Attack, Flow, and many more. Our Group Fitness team includes individuals who are passionate about fitness and wellness as a lifestyle and enjoy sharing that with our members. In addition to class instruction, they also host specialized workshops like laughter yoga, boxing, and Melt as well as support members in activity-driven challenges to encourage engagement. We also offer private yoga sessions.
All Group Fitness instructors must hold a general Group Fitness certification, such as AFAA. Yoga instructors must hold a minimum of 200 training hours certification. For questions on specific modalities, please inquire.
All Group Fitness instructors must have current CPR/AED certification.
Pilates Reformer
We have a full Pilates Reformer studio, which includes four or five reformers, barrels, chairs, the Cadillac, and the Wunda chair. Our Pilates Reformer instructors offer private, semi-private, and group sessions to members. Sessions address goals like rehabilitation, back pain management, toning and elongating muscles, and overall healthier lifestyle. All new members are introduced to Pilates, which greatly increases interest for participation.
All instructors must be at least Level One certified and must have a current CPR/AED certification.
WSI Swim Instructors
Responsible for teaching individual and group swim lessons. Must hold a Water Safety Instructor certification.
Member Services
Our Member Services department consists of receptionists, representatives, call center attendants, and managers. These individuals greet members and guests who visit the Center, answer incoming calls, oversee point-of-sale transactions for ancillary services, and assist prospective members touring the facility. Some individuals on this team also help with billing-related tasks, such as updating credit card information and discussing account inquiries.
