I began attending coaching sessions to enhance my performance in marathons and seek professional advice to achieve my goals. Dan was an excellent coach for me because of his vast knowledge, ability to make the sessions enjoyable, and approach to tailor them to my needs. My primary objective was to increase strength and flexibility and ultimately improve my marathon time, and Dan helped me achieve that. With his guidance, I discovered the importance of core and upper body strengthening in my running training. He challenged and supported me during 16 coaching sessions. Thanks to Dan, I was able to surpass my expectations and set a personal record at the Philly marathon, finishing in 4:07, which was 30 minutes better than my previous time.
