Fun Fact:
I have a pomsky, who I consider to be my best friend. We love to go on hikes and do outdoor activities together. I was a Sergeant in the Marine Corps. I served for four and a half years straight out of high school.

Why did you go into Personal Training?
I want to educate and motivate others to help them achieve their goals. It hurts me to see people stuck in an unhealthy lifestyle because they don’t know where to start or what to change. I want to be a positive factor in peoples’ lives, helping them be the best versions of themselves.

Ashley made me feel comfortable as soon as I met her. I haven’t worked with a trainer before, but Ashley immediately put me at ease by discussing how we would work together to meet my goals of getting stronger and improving my posture. Before each exercise, she explains what muscles would be used and what might be sore later. Ashley always ensures I’m ok with each new exercise and # of sets. I’m already feeling more confident and flexible, and I’m walking “taller.” I look forward to our sessions.

I selected Ashley due to her knowledge of seniors and physical therapy. I’ve worked with her for a year since my two other trainers left to further their careers. I’ve made the most progress with Ashley! I had breast cancer years ago with some lymph nodes removed, which made my left side weaker. I am finally progressing with weights and being able to lift more. This improvement helps me do daily chores more easily. I didn’t think this would ever happen! Ashley is very versatile, being able to adjust my program on the spot for whatever problem I might have: back or neck pain and arthritic knees.

Ashley is also understanding, personable, and enjoyable to be with. I look forward to my sessions every week. Since knowing Ashley, I have the incentive to do more during the week, which is exactly what my doctor prescribed! I am so grateful to have Ashley as my trainer!!

Ashley has become essential in my fitness journey over the last several months. Her approach is very organic, as it is clear that she wants to enhance not just her clients’ appearance but their overall quality of life. Ashley is quite knowledgeable about different exercises and methods of wellness, but that is not her most important attribute. It is her kind and caring attitude, the way she checks in on me on the Fitness Floor – even when we are not in session, her positive attitude, even when the training gets tough, and the fact that Ashley always comes from a place of “Yes! We’ve got this!” It is a pleasure and a privilege to work with her.

Ashley has been an incredible influence on my fitness journey, and I couldn’t be more grateful for everything she’s done for me. I started Personal Training to learn how to be comfortable with navigating the gym equipment and build a workout routine. She’s been incredibly patient and always taking the time to teach me things to build a foundation. She’s brought a sense of discipline and dedication, inspiring me to push myself in ways I never thought possible. She knows exactly how to push and motivate you without it ever feeling too much. She knows how to challenge me at the right times and when I need encouragement and patience.

An area where Ashley has been invaluable is in helping me work around my physical restrictions. I came in with concerns about chronic knee and back pain that I thought would hold me back, but Ashley took the time to understand my limitations and modified my exercises that didn’t just keep me safe but also allowed me to keep progressing.
What I like about Ashley is how much she genuinely cares about her clients. She’s not just focused on the workouts but on me as a person. Whether it’s checking in to make sure I’m staying on track or celebrating my wins, big or small, she’s always there. Because of her, I’ve become physically stronger and mentally more confident in what I can achieve.

Ashley has helped me build a foundation for fitness that goes beyond just working out. She’s taught me the importance of staying consistent, believing in myself, and embracing the process, even when it’s hard. Thanks to her, I’ve achieved goals I never thought were possible. I couldn’t have done it without her, and I’ll always be grateful for the patience, support, and expertise she’s brought to my journey.

I started training a year ago with the specific goal of gaining strength and the ability to pass a physical fitness test. Training with Ashley has been imperative for my progress. She was able to understand my goals and find what works for me. I have seen fantastic progress over this last year. I could not do a push-up when I started, but now I can do 14 consecutively. Every day, I am closer to my long-term goal of passing the physical fitness test for my dream job. Ashley is both friendly and stern, which makes for a great trainer. She has been great at keeping me accountable and has made working out a significant part of my life instead of a daunting task.
