N.E.S.T.A. – C.P.T. and Core Conditioning Specialist, N.P.T.I. – C.P.T., TRX®, and Kettlebell certified. Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from St. Thomas Aquinas College and an Associates degree in Electrical Technology from Rockland Community College.
TRX®, kettlebell training, core strength, weight loss, and I work with seniors on their balance, strength and posture.
I worked in the corporate world for almost 30 years. I play in two men’s softball leagues. I live on a lake so I do many water activities (paddle boarding, rafting, kayaking). I enjoy competing and I love baseball and the NY Yankees!
Why did you go into Personal Training?
I have always had an interest in fitness. To this day, I enjoy learning as much as I can, so I can be the professional and knowledgeable trainer people need when they are looking for assistance. I feel good when I am able to help others on their fitness journey or starting over again.

I attended Rob’s seated strength class and enjoyed it immensely. He is one of the nicest, kindest, genuine human beings I have ever met. He is not my personal trainer but I wish he had been. I had issues with my original trainer but if I had Rob, it would have been a different story. I just recently canceled my membership and will miss this class. I could see him with his clients around the gym. Watching him, I know that he is not phony in the class since he was just as nice, if not nicer as a personal trainer. He is a great employee.
Bob is our Seated Strength Instructor. Bob walks into the studio and greets everyone with a smile. He is witty and makes us ALL feel right at home. I have increased upper body strength as well as improving my balance. Which I never thought would happened, in 4 weeks of taking his class, twice a week. Now I feel more confident in balance than ever before. Please keep smiling Bob; you are truly delightful to work with.
I trained with Rob when I first joined the gym. I had a knee replacement & could not exercise for a while. I recently sat with Rob & explained that my therapist gave me exercises to do for my leg & right side of my body. However, I felt I was getting weak in my upper body. Rob really listened & set up a program to meet my needs. Thanks to Rob, I am on my way to feeling better & gaining strength.
I have been training with Rob for six months. When I started, I had little knowledge or experience in the different types of exercises that exist. The Center is amazing, but it can be overwhelming. Rob motivates me to continue to get in better shape. He is encouraging and knowledgeable. Most importantly, he makes sure I exercise using proper form so I do not injure myself. He even got my wife to start exercising!
